This is reported by the General Staff of the AFU as of the morning of June 28. The occupants continue to concentrate their main efforts in the Lyman, Bakhmut and Marinka directions. During the day there occurred more than 30 combat clashes.

Thus, near Orikhovo-Vasylivka in the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations. More than 15 villages were damaged by artillery fire from the enemy forces. Among them were Nykyforivka, Vasiukivka, Rozdolivka, Markovo, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka and Pivdenne in Donetsk Region.

There were also artillery attacks on more than 10 villages, in particular Marinka, Illinka and Peremoha in Donetsk Region.

That includes Katerynivka, Elizavetivka, Bohoiavlenka, Blahodatne, Vuhledar, Prechystivka and Zolota Nyva in Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions the enemy concentrates its main efforts to prevent the advance of our troops. Units of missile troops and artillery conducted strikes in the last 24 hours, which resulted in the destruction of one command post, two "Buk" surface-to-air missile systems and four areas where the enemy had concentrated its manpower, weapons and military equipment.

As a reminder, the AFU advanced in at least two sections of the front. In particular, the Ukrainian military destroyed a Russian bridgehead on the western bank of the Siversky Donets River, running southwest of Bakhmut. Also on June 26, Ukrainian troops de-occupied Rivnopil, located on the administrative border between Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian troops blew up the Kakhovska HPP to stop the Ukrainian counterattack in the south, but they miscalculated: this attack did not create such intractable problems for the Ukrainian military as the Russians had hoped. The bombing of the dam forced the command to make adjustments to the combat operations, but did not stop the offensive.
