The occupants shelled residential neighborhoods in Kherson: a 27-year-old man was killed

Houses, a kindergarten, an ambulance, and a service station came under fire

Russian occupation troops in the morning of June 20 shelled residential neighborhoods of Kherson with artillery. As a result of the attack, a 27-year-old civilian was killed.

In particular, houses, a kindergarten, an educational institution and a service station came under fire. This was reported by the head of the Kherson regional military administration Olexandr Prokudin.

According to him, the occupants also hit an ambulance team, which was on its way to help the sick.

Fortunately, the medical workers were not injured.

 

For its part, the press service of the Kherson regional prosecutor's office informed that a pre-trial investigation was launched into the violation of laws and customs of war (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to investigators, the shelling occurred around 11:00 a.m. The occupants carried out mortar fire from the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson.

The dead man was 28 years old, the tragedy occurred as a result of an attack on one of the neighborhoods in Kherson, the prosecutor's office said.

 

As reported by OBOZREVATEL:

- On the night of June 20, the enemy launched a massive attack on Zaporizhzhia. The invaders targeted communications, property and equipment of agricultural and farming enterprises, as well as a popular recreational site.

- The occupiers also attacked Lviv with "shaheds". An infrastructure facility was hit by the enemy.

- In Kyiv region, debris from downed enemy shells damaged non-residential structures and several private homes.
