Russian war criminals attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region on the night of July 7 with Iranian-made "Shahed" kamikaze drones. Defenders managed to shot down six targets, but debris from one of the drones hit a car on the highway, killing two people.
One drone hit a private enterprise. Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, spoke about the consequences of another Russian terrorist attack (to see the photo, scroll to the end of the news).
"At night, the enemy attacked the region with "Shahed" drones. Six targets were shot down by defenders from the "East" Air Command. The wreckage of one of them fell on a car that was driving on the highway," he noted.
Unfortunately, two men died in this car.
Dry grass also caught fire. Rescuers extinguished this fire.
Another UAV hit a private enterprise in the Kryvyi Rih district. There, too, a fire broke out. The flames covered more than 100 square meters and reached four meters high.
"It has already been subdued by the State Emergency Situations Service. No one was injured," added Lysak.
According to him, that night the enemy also continued to shell the front-line settlements of the region.
In particular, the Russian occupants hit Nikopol with heavy artillery. Fortunately, people were not injured.
In total, on the night of July 7, the enemy launched 18 kamikaze drones on Ukraine, 12 of which the defenders of the sky shot down.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the last time air defense worked on enemy drones in Dnipropetrovsk region at night on July 5. Explosions were heard in the suburbs of the regional center.
