The General Staff confirmed the defeat of the Russian Cyclone missile ship: what is known

On the night of May 19, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit another vessel of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. It was a Cyclone missile ship of the 22800 project.

The information was confirmed in a Facebook post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The military did not provide any more details.

At the same time, the Dossier of a Spy Telegram channel previously reported that the Cyclone was hit by ATACMS missiles. The strike killed six servicemen of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and wounded 11 others. The ship itself was sunk, the channel's source claimed.

In April, the Ukrainian Navy reported that the Russian Black Sea Fleet had already lost a third of its ships during the full-scale war. Among the ships destroyed by the Ukrainian Defense Forces are not only the flagship but also patrol vessels and large landing craft. There is even a submarine.

– Agents of the military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars "Atesh" reported that the occupiers are strengthening their naval base in Novorossiysk, where they previously moved most of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. They are installing various means against marine drones.

– The network showed images of damaged ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the bay of the temporarily occupied Sevastopol. Among them are two amphibious assault ships and the Ivan Khurs.
