At the frontline in Ukraine, the chief of intelligence of the Russian volunteer formation "Española" Vyacheslav Subbotin with the call sign "Weekend" was successfully "denazified". It is noted that the occupier was eliminated while performing his terrorist task, "with weapons in hand."

This was reported by propaganda publics on Telegram. It was noted that the circumstances of the terrorist's death are being established.

"It turned out that this was his last mission," Russian channels said.

Española is a Russian military formation created from radical fans of football clubs, including CSKA, Spartak, Torpedo, Zenit, Lokomotiv, Orel and other teams. At the same time, these fans decided to go to war against Ukraine on their own.

The commander of the unit is a representative of the Red-Blue Warriors group, Stanislav Orlov, with the call sign "Spaniard". He explained that he formed the group from fans because they "fight better than the mobilized because they are more motivated. In addition, they are hardened in fan clashes and are more disciplined.

Currently, the battalion is led by the Redoubt PMC. Some of the fighters who came to "denazify" Ukraine have neo-Nazi beliefs.

In January 2024, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported that "PMC Espanola" is a private army of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. Previously, it was part of the so-called Vostok battalion. Active recruitment to the PMC is funded by Putin's United Russia party.
