In Cherkaska Lozova near Kharkiv, Russian ballistic shelling by the enemy on May 19 completely destroyed a recreation center where civilians were staying. Six civilians were killed and 16 others were wounded (as of 4:30 p.m. Sunday).
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office posted a video on YouTube of the aftermath of the strike by two Iskander-Ms on a civilian facility. The footage was taken from a drone of investigators.
The video shows that all the facilities of the recreation center located near the reservoir were damaged.
The strike was launched at around 11:00 a.m. from the territory of Russia's Belgorod region. Six Ukrainians were killed, including a woman who was seven months pregnant. The sixth known victim was a 68-year-old civilian man who died in hospital.
Among the 16 wounded is an eight-year-old child. The second missile also hit a police officer and a medic who were responding to a call.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
As OBOZ.UA wrote, among the victims of the Russian attack on Cherkaska Lozova was a local resident who was fishing 100 meters from the recreation center. A fragment hit him right in the heart.
