The enemy's military-industrial complex is working: Forbes reports on how many missiles and Shaheds Russia produces per month
Journalists report that the aggressor country of Russia continues to manufacture the weapons that it uses to strike Ukraine every day. The enemy produces up to 200 missiles a month, and in the case of the Shaheds, the number of missiles is in the hundreds.
Despite the sanctions imposed by the West against Russia, the Russian military-industrial complex is actively functioning. Forbes Ukraine writes about this with reference to the data of an interlocutor in one of the intelligence agencies.
According to the source, the rate of missile production in Russia is 132-171 units per month, for which the occupiers spend $1.1 billion. They used approximately the same number of missiles during the massive attack on Ukraine on August 26.
Every month, Russia produces 42 to 56 ballistic and 90 to 115 long-range cruise missiles. They can be used to strike deep into Ukrainian territory, in particular, the country's energy infrastructure.
The rate of production of Shahed drones is even faster – more than 500 units. This costs the Russians about $100 million.
In the first half of September 2024 alone (from the 1st to the 15th), the Russian Federation's troops launched more than 640 Iranian-designed Shahed-136 kamikaze drones into Ukraine. Most of them were shot down by our air defense, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, the media wrote that Russia produces almost eight times more X-101 missiles than before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, although the process still depends on components from Western countries, especially the United States.
