The Chongar Bridge explosion was captured on video: the smoke was visible from afar

An explosion on the bridge in Chongar between Kherson Oblast and Crimea was captured by one of the external surveillance cameras. The nature of the "bavina" coincides with the version that the object was attacked by a missile.

A fiery cloud instantly rose into the sky after the arrival, and then smoke billowed. The relevant video was published by the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind". It should be noted that the footage was leaked online in rather poor quality (scroll to the end of the page to see it).

The explosion took place around 5:00. Russian sources blamed it on the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is alleged that a Ukrainian aircraft launched a British-made Storm Shadow missile over the bridge.

The occupation's so-called authorities have acknowledged the destruction. However, they assure that repair work has already begun. Volodymyr Saldo, the gauleiter of the occupied Kherson region, said that the communication with Crimea continues, as "there are other routes, albeit a little longer."

As OBOZREVATEL wrote:

- Eyewitnesses filmed the first minutes after the explosion on the bridge in Chongar on camera. Smoke was visible above the site.

- Russians were enraged by the incident. Victims of the propaganda demanded revenge - strikes on Ukraine as well as on British territory.

- At the same time, Saldo threatened that Russia might strike bridges in Odessa Region and the village of Giurgiulesti, a settlement in Moldova's Cahul district on the border with Romania and Ukraine. The collaborator claims that Russia's response will be "very serious".
