On the night of Thursday, April 11, the aggressor country Russia launched Shahed-type kamikaze drones at Ukraine and then attacked with X-101/555 cruise missiles and ballistic missiles. Energy facilities were hit in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, and Lviv regions.

The combined hostile attack lasted seven hours, forcing Poland to send its fighter jets back into the air. The Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of the danger.

At first, the occupiers launched several groups of Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from the south. Eventually, the aggressor took to the skies nine Tu-95MS strategic bombers.

Monitoring channels warned that the enemy aircraft took off from the Olenya airfield in the Murmansk region of the Russian Federation. The estimated time the planes reached the launch line was 03:40, and at 05:00 the missiles were already in Ukrainian airspace.

At 05:08, six ballistic missile launches from the Belgorod region at Kharkiv were reported, followed by repeated missile launches by the enemy at the region.

The head of the RMA, Oleh Syniehubov, confirmed that Russian troops had struck at least ten times in the Kharkiv region. Critical infrastructure was hit, and the power supply was interrupted. There has been no information on casualties so far. At the same time, the mayor warned that the subway would not work in the coming hours.

Around 06:00, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that the enemy had launched X-47M2 "Kinzhal" aerial ballistic missiles, in particular in the direction of Lviv and Stryi, and then launched new missiles.

During the massive Russian attack on Ukraine, the Polish Armed ForcesCommand raised its military fighter aircraft "to ensure the safety of its airspace."

According to Nataliia Humeniuk, a spokeswoman for the Joint Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, the enemy attacked energy facilities again – there was a hit in Zaporizhzhia, without casualties. A critical infrastructure facility in the Kyiv region was also hit, causing a fire. In addition, a gas distribution infrastructure facility and a power substation in the Lviv region were hit.

Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said that the enemy attacked generation facilities and transmission systems in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv, and Kyiv regions. Power engineers are working to eliminate the consequences.

The combined massive Russian attack lasted for seven hours, during which the aggressor used 82 air attack weapons: 40 Shahed-131/136 drones, 20 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles, 12 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles, six X-47M2 "Kinzhal" aerial ballistic missiles and four X-59 guided missiles. Air defense forces shot down 57 targets, including 16 X-101/X-555 missiles, two X-59 missiles, and 39 Shaheds.

Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said that within a few hours, Russian terrorists attacked five regions of Ukraine, hitting critical infrastructure. The enemy fired more than 10 missiles at Kharkiv, and some areas of the city had no electricity supply. There, as well as in Odesa, Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kyiv regions, more than 200 rescuers have been working since nightfall to eliminate the consequences of the massive shelling, and more than a hundred investigators, forensic experts, and explosives experts. Personnel and equipment of the State Emergency Service from neighboring regions are involved.

"Fortunately, according to preliminary data, today's attack resulted in no deaths or injuries. Rescuers are ready to quickly deploy mobile generator stations. Fire and rescue units and police departments have set up "invincibility points" with electricity and access to the network. Traffic may be restricted near the sites of shelling," the Interior Minister said.
