The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed how the defenders shot down air targets over the Odesa region in a video. It was published by the commander of the Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk.
"Those who are awake, look at the morning combat work of the soldiers of the Operational Command South against the Nazi cruise missiles! September 17, 2023. Odesa region. My favorite city can sleep peacefully!" Oleshchuk wrote.
The spectacular footage shows how the Air Defense forces hit the enemy missile, after which it exploded in the air.
On the night of September 17, Russian troops attacked Ukraine again. Enemy missiles and kamikaze drones were spotted over the central, eastern and southern regions.
In particular, explosions were heard in the Odesa region. The occupiers struck an agricultural enterprise. There were no casualties.
The Russians also fired S-300 missiles at Kharkiv. Four of them hit a civilian enterprise, causing a fire.
In total, Russia launched 10 missiles and six drones at Ukraine during the night. Air Defense Forces shot down 12 targets.
