The vast majority of the kamikaze drones shot down over Kherson region on the night of April 6 were accounted for by mobile firing groups of the Kherson Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade. Soldiers from these mobile groups destroyed six of the seven "Shaheds" shot down over the region.

Moments of the intense night work of the mobile fire groups were captured on video. It was published by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk.

"Six downed Shaheds on the night of April 6, 2024 are on the account of mobile firing groups of the Kherson Air Defense Missile Brigade! The video shows the combat work of Kherson residents against enemy strike UAVs. Thank you, warriors!" he wrote.

The video shows the hard work of one of the mobile groups. Illuminating the sky with powerful searchlights, the soldiers fire at the Shahed until they shoot it down.

A total of 14 Shaheeds were destroyed over the southern part of Ukraine on the night of April 6: seven of them in Kherson region, three each in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro regions, and one more in the sky over Mykolaiv region.

On the morning of April 6, it became known that during a nighttime enemy combined attack on Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 28 UAVs and three missiles. However, it was not without arrivals.

In particular, Russian troops attacked the Kharkiv region with missiles and UAVs; as of 8 a.m. on April 6, there were 6 dead, 10 wounded, and significant damage, with the number of casualties later rising to 7.

The invaders attacked Zaporizhzhia for two days in a row: in the afternoon of April 5 and at dawn on April 6. Yesterday's attack left more than 20 people injured, including children, and four people dead, and caused significant damage. The second attack targeted industrial enterprises in the region and resulted in no casualties.

In addition, Putin's army attacked a resort in Sloviansk with missiles in the middle of the night, destroying one of the buildings.

A fire broke out in the Kyiv region as a result of falling debris. An agricultural enterprise in the Kherson region was also on fire after being hit by an enemy drone.
