Syrskyi: the situation in eastern Ukraine has been stabilized

Syrsky reported on the situation at the front

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have stabilized the situation on the battlefield in eastern Ukraine. In particular, this is due to the merit of the government and the people of France, who have consistently supported Ukraine in its fight against the Russian army.

The head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about this with the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of the French Republic, Army General Thierry Bourcart. Syrskyi reported the details of the conversation on his Telegram.

"I also expressed my gratitude for the assistance provided in the training of Ukrainian servicemen in France," he added.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported on March 20 that the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka sectors remain the hottest areas of the frontline. In addition, the occupants have intensified their activities in the Liman sector: our soldiers repelled 10 enemy attacks there yesterday.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that on March 15, in the Avdiivka sector, Russian troops tried to drive tanks and armored vehicles into the village of Orlivka in the Ocheretynska community. This enemy attack was unsuccessful – three tanks were destroyed.

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

– The Armed Forces of Ukraine said that in the Liman direction, the Russians alternate between small-group assaults and larger-scale breakthrough attempts with the support of armored vehicles. The occupiers are constantly using poisonous substances and cluster munitions to attack the defenders.

– On March 21, Syrskyi met with a NATO delegation led by Admiral Rob Bauer, head of the North Atlantic Military Committee. The military held talks.
