Ukraine remains the most mined country in the world

Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has appealed to international partners to assist in demining Ukrainian territories. The Russian occupiers are rapidly planting explosive objects when retreating, creating obstacles for the Defense Forces, but with the help of allies, they can be overcome.

The official told about this in a commentary to The Guardian. He noted that sometimes our sappers dig up five mines for every square meter.
