"Sitting on the position, you can smell the corpse smell": an occupier tells about losses and realities of war. Interception
A soldier of the occupation army of the aggressor country Russia, who was sent to fight in Ukraine, complained about the heavy losses of Putin's army on the front line. He said that the smell of corpses is acutely felt at some of the occupiers' positions.
He said this in a telephone conversation with his friend. The interception of the conversation was posted on the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine's Youtube channel on Friday, 16 June (scroll to the bottom of the page to watch the video).
He said that the Russian army suffers huge losses - Ukraine's defenders are constantly attacking enemy positions, and the occupiers, for their part, do not always respond to the shelling.
"The guy we came here with got two hundred injuries, one got three hundred... We were carrying him out... half of his head was f*cking blown off by a shrapnel. The only thing left was the back of his head, and his brains were in different directions. "The bird" must have corrected it... And they must have been hunting for her... You don't know where these mortars are... everything hits us... They hit us, and we start responding in half an hour," he said.
The invader noted that many of the dead were former Russian prisoners who had been "pardoned" and sent to die in Ukraine.
"There were only 300 f*cking criminals here, and I think they killed all of them! And our 'storms'... There are a lot of '200s'. The whole forest!" he added.
The occupier also noted that there were so many casualties that the smell of corpses could be heard at the positions.
"This was not the case before, and now you sit on the position and smell the corpse smell, it is already being pulled by the breeze," the Russian military said.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the Russian occupiers complain that they have been reduced in their payments for participating in the war against Ukraine. However, they are satisfied with what they are given and are ready to become the contents of black bags for such money
