The Maidan accompanied Iryna Tsybukh on her last journey with a multi-voiced singing. This is how those who attended the farewell ceremony fulfilled the defender's dying wish. In case of her death, she left a wish for the farewell ceremony: embroidery or camouflage instead of black clothes. She would have wanted to replace flowers with donations to the Hospitallers and assistance to the families of the victims. She also asked that those attending her funeral not cry but sing Ukrainian songs.

"I want everyone to sing at the farewell to extinguish the sorrow with their native singing," she wrote.

Later, the heroine's brother published her posthumous letter. Knowing that death could be waiting for her at the front at any moment, the girl wrote this letter back in April in case the irreparable happened.
