As OBOZ.UA wrote, on September 10, Russia announced the first large-scale counterattack in the Kursk region. Paratroopers and marines are involved in the offensive, and several settlements have allegedly been captured. The ISW noted that the Russians are indeed making some progress, but it will be slower and slower.

The ISW report of September 14 states that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have confirmed advances in Kursk region and have taken control of several more settlements. In particular, they have made progress in the areas of Sudzha and Korenevo and in the Glushkovsky district, which they entered the other day.

In addition, the day before, the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Airborne Forces showed how they forced a unit of Russian airborne troops to flee in the Kursk region. The occupiers lost several dozen men to the "two hundredth", and the survivors had to run for their lives.
