Russians take neither the wounded nor the dead from the battlefield: spokesman for the Kharkiv operational-tactical group tells about "instructions" for the occupiers

The Russian military is leaving wounded and dead occupiers on the battlefield in large numbers. Moreover, if a soldier is wounded, he must commit suicide.

This was stated by Yevhen Romanov, spokesman for the Kharkiv operational-tactical group. "They usually do not do this (take the dead - Ed.). Because they neglect these lives. They do not take their wounded," he said.

According to Romanov, the Russian military has instructions that oblige a wounded soldier to avoid being captured by any means, even at the cost of his own life. In case of injury, a Russian soldier must commit suicide on his own - with a grenade, firearm, or any other convenient way.

"They even have special instructions that if a Russian is wounded, he must commit suicide by himself. With a grenade or a weapon or in any other convenient way," he said.

Despite this, more and more Russian soldiers are voluntarily surrendering to Ukrainian forces. Romanov cited an example when Ukrainian troops recently captured eight Russians at once in the Kharkiv sector.

As a reminder, on December 17, Ukrainian soldiers "denazified" another 1,580 Russian occupants. Russia's total combat losses in manpower as of the morning of December 18 amounted to 766,690 invaders.

The day before, the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed the work of the Edelweiss brigade and announced the enemy's losses. The enemy attack on one of the brigade's positions lasted on December 15-16.

In total, the soldiers of the 10th Brigade eliminated 44 Russian occupants and killed 33, one of them was taken prisoner.
