On the morning of August 26, Russian terrorist forces fired rockets at an infrastructure facility in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Three civilians were injured.

Also, houses and outbuildings were damaged in the region, and several fires broke out. This was reported by the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional military administration Svitlana Onyshchuk on Telegram.

The Russian occupiers tried to attack the region from different directions. Some of the enemy missiles were destroyed by air defense forces.

"This morning, Russian terrorists carried out another one of the most massive attacks in Ukraine. In some regions, there were power outages. Explosions were also heard in Prykarpattia. The enemy attacked our region from different directions. Air defense forces destroyed several air targets," said the head of the RMA.

At the same time, attacks on an infrastructure facility were recorded in the region. Three people were wounded as a result of the shelling, they were provided with medical assistance.

"Unfortunately, there was a hit to an infrastructure facility, three people were injured and are being treated. Specialists from the State Emergency Service, medical, and other relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attacks," Onyshchuk said.

The press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region reported that rescuers extinguished the fires caused by falling missile debris. The Rescue Service received a report that in one of the settlements of Ivano-Frankivsk district, the roof of a newly built residential building on an area of 100 square meters caught fire. In another village in the same district, a fire broke out in an outbuilding on the territory of a private household over an area of 5 square meters. Also in this village, a fire of dry grass broke out in an open area over an area of 50 square meters. Rescuers quickly eliminated the fire.

"There are no hits. Air defense is working. The blast wave damaged houses in Radcha. The windows in a local shop were also smashed... Anyone whose home or property was damaged can receive compensation for the damage," said Ruslan Martsinkiv, mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk.

Under the procedural supervision of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings over violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been initiated. Prosecutors and investigators are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by the aggressor state.

On the morning of August 26, Russian terrorists launched a massive attack on Ukraine with missiles of various types and kamikaze drones. During the attack, powerful explosions were heard in Odesa.

Earlier it was reported that on August 26, the Russian terrorist army attacked the Poltava region. The aggressor targeted an industrial facility. Five people were injured in the attack.
