Russian troops strike again in Kherson region: civilians wounded. Photo

On 17 July, Russian troops struck again in the Kherson region. At around 5pm, they fired on the Bilozerska community, reportedly using artillery.
Private houses were damaged, and two local residents were injured, both hospitalised. This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
"According to the investigation, on 17 July, at around 17:00, Russian troops once again fired on the civilian population of the Bilozerska community. According to preliminary data, it was from artillery. Two local women aged 58 and 25 sustained shrapnel wounds and were hospitalised. Private households were damaged as a result of the shelling," the Kherson Prosecutor's Office said.
A pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been initiated. Employees of the Oleshky District Prosecutor's Office, together with police officers, documented the consequences of the shelling.
On the afternoon of 17 July, Russian occupants attacked Bilopillia in Sumy region. Two elderly women who were in the park where the enemy shells hit were killed. At least ten people were wounded, some of them in serious condition.
The city fire station also came under enemy fire. Six rescuers were wounded there, and their lives were saved by a shelter.
