Russian troops shell Kharkiv region: there are dead and wounded
Russian occupation forces once again attacked the Kharkiv region. As a result of the shelling, several people were killed and wounded.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Sinegubov. "Russian occupiers are firing at the civilian population of the Kharkiv region," he said in a statement.
In particular, an enemy shell hit a residential building in the village of Podoly, Kupyansk district. A woman died as a result of the occupants' shelling. Another person was wounded.
Emergency services are currently working at the scene.
In addition, the enemy fired on the village of Vovchanski Khutory, Chuhuiv district. A 73-year-old man was wounded there. Medics treated him on the spot and he did not need hospitalisation.
It is worth noting that the authorities of Kharkiv region do not rule out the possibility of announcing a mandatory evacuation of civilians from 53 settlements in Kupyansk district near the combat zone. They may also introduce forced evacuation of children with their parents or guardians.
