Over the past day, Russian occupation forces conducted unsuccessful offensives in Donetsk region, focusing their efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka directions. There were 39 firefights there, and heavy fighting continues.

This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook on 19 June. It is noted that the terrorist state continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, as well as to use terror tactics, shelling both military and civilian targets.

Russian shelling and the situation at the front

The invaders launched another missile and air strike on the territory of Ukraine, using 4 Kalibr cruise missiles and 4 Iranian Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs. All 8 air targets were destroyed by the Air Defence Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In addition, the enemy conducted 32 air strikes and fired about 40 MLRS attacks at the positions of our troops and populated areas. Civilians suffered.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. It fired mortar and artillery shells at the settlements of Hremyach in Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Chuykivka, Basivka, Turya in Sumy region, as well as Guryev, Kozachok, Udy, Chervona Zorya, Kozacha Lopan, Hlyboke, Oliynykove, Liptsi, Ternove, Staritsa, Ogyryovo, Gatyshche, Vovchansk, Zybine, Okhrimivka, Varvar, Nesterne, Budarky, Krasny Yar in Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy launched an air strike on the town of Kyslivka in Kharkiv region. Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Kyslivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy conducted offensive actions in the directions of Yampolivka, Torske, west of Dibrova, Hryhorivka and Sporne in Donetsk region, but failed. He conducted an air strike on the settlement of Sporne, Donetsk region. Stelmakhivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhnekamianske and Rozdolivka in Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the direction of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Donetsk region. He carried out air strikes on the settlements of Pivnichne and Toretsk. Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozaryanivka, Bila Hora, Kostyantynivka, Druzhba, and Severne in the Donetsk region suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka sector, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Avdiivka. He fired artillery shells near the settlements of Orlivka, Avdiivka, Karlivka, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka sector, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of Krasnohorivka, Maryinka and Peremoha. The enemy launched an air strike near Maryinka. At the same time, he fired artillery in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka and Peremoha in Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk sector, the enemy conducted offensive actions in the direction of Novomykhailivka. He carried out an air strike in the area of Zolota Niva. It fired on the settlements of Paraskoviivka, Kostiantynivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane, and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Levadne, Zelenyi Pole and Novodarivka in Zaporizhzhia region. He fired artillery at Blagodatne, Makarivka, Storozheve, Vremevka, Vilne Pole, Zelene Pole, Novopillya in Donetsk region; Temyrivka, Levadne, Olgivske, Krasne, Gulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Novoandriivka, Shcherbaki, Stepove, Pyatikhatky, Lobkove, Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia region; Beryslav, Tomaryne, Kozatske, Burgunka, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Kherson, Dniprovske, Kyzomys, Sofiyivka in Kherson region.

Russia's losses in the war

Over the past day, the aviation of the defence forces carried out 15 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel.

During the day, missile and artillery units hit 3 control points, 6 areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment, 2 ammunition depots, 1 fuel and lubricants depot, 14 artillery units at firing positions, 3 air defence facilities and 2 other important occupation targets.

In addition, according to the General Staff, due to heavy losses on the battlefield, the enemy continues to convert civilian institutions in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine into medical facilities.

For example, the occupiers turned a secondary school in Rozivka, Zaporizhzhia region, into a military hospital. An operating theatre was placed in the dining room, and wards for the wounded were set up in classrooms. This "military hospital" is also used as a logistics hub for the redistribution of wounded and dead enemy soldiers. Seriously wounded soldiers and sergeants are transported to medical facilities in Donetsk, Mariupol and Berdiansk by road. Wounded officers are transported to Russia by air.
