Over 35 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defence Forces and Russian occupation forces took place on the frontline in Ukraine yesterday. The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut and Maryinka directions, and is also unsuccessfully trying to resume offensive operations in the Kupyansk direction.

This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook on 26 June. At the same time, it is noted that Ukrainian troops managed to liberate the village of Rivnopil in Donetsk region.

Situation at the front and Russian shelling

During the day, the occupiers launched a missile and air strike on the territory of Ukraine. Two Kalibr cruise missiles and 7 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs were destroyed by the Ukrainian Air Force air defence forces and equipment. The enemy also attacked from the north with four unmanned aerial vehicles of an unspecified type (presumably strike drones), all of which were destroyed.

In addition, during the day, the enemy carried out 36 air strikes and fired 17 times from MLRS.

The enemy maintains military presence in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions. It fired mortar and artillery shells at the settlements of Hirsk in Chernihiv region; Sorokino, Korenok, Stukalivka, Yunakivka, Loknya in Sumy region, as well as Udy, Chervona Zorya, Odnorobivka, Vetarine, Hoptivka, Strilecha, Pylyna, Kozacha Lopan, Morozovets, Lukianets, Izbytske, Pletinovka, Ogurtsovo, Volokhivka, Budarky, Zemlianky, Chuhunivka, Vidradne in Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Stelmakhivka. Krasne Pershe, Vasyltsivka, Figolovka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Kyslivka, Berestove in Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Spirne and Rozdolivka, Donetsk region. Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhnekamyane, Spirne and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Bohdanivka. He carried out air strikes in the areas of Soledar and Bila Gora in the Donetsk region. The areas of Vasyukivka, Markove, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozaryanivka and Pivdenne in the Donetsk region were hit by enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka sector, the occupants conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Pervomaiske. They carried out air strikes in the areas of Avdiivka and Pivnichne. They shelled the settlements of Sukha Balka, Avdiivka, Orlivka, Vodiane, Karlivka, Nevelske, Oleksandropil, Valentynivka, Keramik, Stepove and Pervomayske in the Donetsk region with artillery.

In the Maryinka sector, the enemy conducted offensive actions in the vicinity of Maryinka, but was unsuccessful. He conducted an air strike near Krasnohorivka. At the same time, he fired artillery in the areas of Heorhiivka, Maryinka and Peremoha in Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk sector, Ukrainian defence forces liberated the village of Rivnopil in Donetsk region. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Prechistivka, Blahodatne and Makarivka. He fired at Illinka, Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Storozheve, Yelizavetivka, Bohoyavlenka, Vuhledar, Zolota Niva, Makarivka, Novosilka, Novopil, Makarivka, Zelene Pole in Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is focusing its main efforts on preventing the advance of our troops. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Levadne and Oleshky. It fired artillery at the towns of Temyrivka, Novodarivka, Levadne, Olhove, Malynivka, Zaporizhzhia, Krasne, Gulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Gulyaypolske, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Pyatikhatky, Lobkove in Zaporizhzhia region; Nikopol in Dnipropetrovs'k region; Dudchany, Olgivka, Respublikanets, Lviv, Tyahynyka, Burgunka, Kachkarivka, Mykolaivka, Zmiivka, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Molodizhne, Inzhenerne, Zelenivka, Kherson, Bilozerka, Berehove, Dniprovske, Bilozerka, Romashkove, Charivne in Kherson region and Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region.

Russia's losses at the front

Over the last day, the defence forces' aviation carried out 6 strikes on the areas where enemy personnel were concentrated. Meanwhile, missile and artillery units struck a command post and 10 enemy artillery units at firing positions over the course of the day.

- Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that Ukrainian servicemen continue to inflict devastating losses on the Russian occupation army. The country's defenders also manage to provide assistance to their wounded comrades and evacuate them from the battlefield;

- the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine confirmed that the Defence Forces have taken control of Rivnopil and continue to advance in some areas of the frontline. Since the beginning of the offensive, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have officially de-occupied eight settlements.
