On December 15, the occupation forces of the Russian Federation moved towards Terny (Donetsk region, near Nevske) and attempted to attack Makiivka (Luhansk region). These battles were fruitless for the invaders.

The head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Artem Lysohor, spoke about the situation. He published a summary on Saturday morning, December 16, on his Telegram channel.

Lysohor noted that Ukrainian defenders have to repel enemy attacks in difficult weather conditions. "At the same time, the bad weather has again complicated the use of aviation and drones. The enemy used them once yesterday," the official said.

The Russian Federation Armed Forces opened fire from artillery and mortars at Nevske, Bilohorivka and the territory of Serebryansky forest.

The enemy continues to commit war crimes in the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region.

"Forced passportization failed in Lysychansk. The only report that the occupiers could boast of before was the recent so-called "first elections". However, even people without any documents were allowed to vote, so this figure does not reflect the percentage of those who have been certified.

There is still no passport office in the city. People have to go to neighboring settlements to replace their documents. It is even more difficult for single elderly people. People who call themselves social workers, of course, are waiting for them, but they do not go door to door. A pensioner or a person with limited mobility is also unable to call for help because the connection is off," the head of the RMA said.

He is also aware that the enemy set up a military hospital in the house of culture in the village of Kabychivka, Luhansk region, where just under a thousand people lived before the full-scale invasion. Wounded Russians are regularly brought there, Lysohor noted.
