Russian troops do not give up their intention to capture Avdiivka in Donetsk region. The enemy has probably completed preparations for the third wave of assaults.
Since the beginning of the attacks, the invaders have been restrained by rains, which temporarily prevented the use of equipment. This was stated by Vitaliy Barabash, head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration, during a telethon.
He has no doubt that the occupiers will resume massive intensive attempts to capture the city. They were regrouping and pulling equipment and personnel to the Avdiivka direction.
"There will definitely be a third wave. The enemy was regrouping after the second unsuccessful wave of their assault. They were pulling up reserves of equipment and personnel. Most likely, they are ready for the third wave, but the weather conditions do not allow them to use equipment, because it has been raining heavily for almost a week, the soil is very heavy, and the equipment cannot drive on such soil," noted Barabash.
At the same time, the invaders do not stop their assault operations either day or night. The Russians are attacking especially fiercely to the north of Avdiivka.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces showed the destruction of a column of enemy armored vehicles near Avdiivka . Soldiers from the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade inflicted a crushing defeat on the occupiers.
