Russian occupiers boasted of capturing Avdiivka, showing the city destroyed by them

Propagandists boast of capturing Avdiivka

Russian propagandists released a "victory" video from the destroyed Avdiivka. The war criminals in the footage claimed that they were "clearing" the city, as small groups of Ukrainian soldiers, including the wounded, allegedly remained there. In general, the occupiers reported that they were 100% in control of the city.

The corresponding footage with the caption "Avdiivka has returned home" was published in the Telegram of the "People's Militia of the DPR". They show that there is not a single surviving building in the city - it is a complete ruin.

The occupiers noted that the war criminal who led the operation to capture the city was Russian Colonel General Andrey Mordvichev.

"A few words to the enemy? Death to the heroes, peace will be adequate," the invader, an officer of the 1st Donetsk Army Corps with the call sign "Hermes" cynically stated in the footage.

He also called on the Ukrainian military not to return to Avdiivka, but to go to "their wives and children".

"This is our land, we will defend it to the end," the terrorist said.

Also in their story, the propagandists showed a local "waiter" named Aleksey, who, standing in the middle of the ruins in the destroyed city, pretended to "feel joy and freedom."

"Thank you, Russia, we are home," the traitor said.

As a reminder, the Special Forces fighters showed unique footage of the battle for Avdiivka in Donetsk region. Only the Special Operations Forces operators performed a number of tasks in that hell: reconnaissance and surveillance, providing fire support for infantry, FPV drones and drops, adjusting artillery and aircraft, assault operations, snipers, mining, etc.

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

- Tavria reported that 17 thousand Russian soldiers were killed during the capture of Avdiivka. The total Russian losses during the occupation of the city amounted to 47 thousand soldiers.

- Military correspondent Bohdan Myroshnikov believes that the capture of Avdiivka by the Russian occupiers does not mean that the enemy will be able to advance as rapidly in this area. The occupiers will be forced to disperse their forces, and they will also face a number of natural obstacles that can "break their teeth."
