Russian commanders sell "mobiks" to serve in PMCs: "rates" became known

Field commanders of the Russian army are selling Russian conscripts to private military companies (PMC). Meanwhile, relatives of the mobilized soldiers continue to record appeals to the president of the aggressor country, Volodymyr Putin, asking for a rotation.

This is stated in a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) on November 3. In particular, the analysts drew attention to the publication of the Russian edition of Vazhnye Istori, which spoke with the mother of one of the sold "mobiles".

It is noted that he was sold to the Redoubt PMC for 25 thousand rubles ($272).

The Russian woman claimed that a colonel surnamed Kozhanov sold one of his mobilized soldiers assigned to two military units - the 1440th mobilized regiment (military unit 29593) and the 29303 military unit - to the separate sabotage and assault brigade " Veteran " (PMC "Redoubt").

In May 2023, relatives of the 1440th mobilized regiment complained that the Russian command had transferred the regiment's units to the Veteran Brigade, ISW recalled.

At the same time, the relatives of the "mobiks" continue to appeal to Putin with a request to rotate them to the front line. The wives and mothers of the occupiers from Novorossiysk (military unit 61756) asked the Kremlin leader to send the mobilized to the rear or give them a break after a year of fighting.

In turn, the Commission on Demography, Protection of Family, Children and Traditional Values of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation proposed to issue a "paternity capital " of 1 million rubles for the birth or adoption of a third child, which is almost twice the maternity capital. Moscow hopes that the "parental capital" will improve the demographic situation.

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

- Earlier, the Russian Federation introduced a "special" military registration of prisoners. It does not require convicts serving sentences in colonies and prisons to report to military enlistment offices.

- Newly mobilized to the Russian occupation army arrive in occupied Dzhankoy every day. Among them, many representatives of national minorities have been noticed: Buryats, Yakuts, Uyghurs and others.

- According to the Atesh movement, in the occupied Crimea, the "mobiks " faced inhuman treatment - they are not fed and "not considered people at all."
