Russian Black Sea Fleet changes tactics: the Navy provides details
The Russian naval grouping in the temporarily occupied Crimea remains quite large, so it is too early to talk about a change in the balance of power. However, the enemy has changed its tactics and stopped using a large number of ships.
This was stated by Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, in an interview with LIGA.net. According to him, the occupiers are using only Kalibr missile carriers in combat.
"It is too early to say that the balance of power in Crimea has changed in favor of the enemy. The grouping remains quite large - more than 30 warships, not counting boats and auxiliary fleet," said the Ukrainian Navy spokesman.
According to him, it is difficult to say that the balance of power has changed, but we can say that the Russians have changed their tactics: the occupiers are using only platforms for launching Kalibr cruise missiles in combat, and the rest of the ships are not actually involved in hostilities.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have pushed back the front linein the Black Sea about 185 kilometers from the government-controlled coast of our country. Currently, hostile Russian ships are not actually sailing in the direction of Ukraine's territorial waters.
