"Russian airfields must be destroyed": Zelenskyy explains how to end the war in Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russian airfields from which planes take off to shell Ukraine must be destroyed. The Head of State emphasized that this would deprive Russia of the opportunity to continue the war.
The president also noted that restrictions on the use of weapons to strike at Russian territory should be lifted. Zelenskyy said this at the inaugural plenary session of the European Political Community Summit.
According to him, the war between Russia and Ukraine can be ended through diplomatic and military efforts. In particular, the President emphasized that all airfields from which Russian planes take off and drop bombs and missiles on Ukrainian cities must be destroyed.
"We must not miss these opportunities. The more effective air defense is, the more helpless Putin will be. The fewer restrictions we have on the use of weapons, the more Russia will try to move towards peace," Zelenskyy said.
