In the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv, one of the strikes was recorded in the center. As a result of the shelling, windows and doors in apartment buildings and nearby establishments were smashed. The drone hit an outbuilding, and a fire broke out.

"I was sleeping in the room when the building was hit. I woke up when the windows in the apartment were already blown out by the blast wave. We quickly got ready, took our documents and went out into the yard. In the morning, I will try to go to my son and ask him to live with him, we rented this room, but now it is impossible to live there," Gwara Media quoted a resident of the damaged building named Anatoliy as saying.

As of 01:52 on March 1, it was reported that seven people were injured in the attack. Some suffered glass wounds, others had acute stress reaction. This was reported by the police of Kharkiv region.

"At the time of the strike, we heard a Shahed nearby, my husband and I went into the corridor. Our windows and doors were damaged," said Iryna, who lives in one of the damaged houses in Kyivskyi district.

Another strike was recorded in Shevchenkivskyi district of the city. The UAV hit a roadway there. The blast wave damaged windows in nearby houses, a supermarket and shops. There was also a gas station nearby that was also damaged.

All relevant agencies have been working since the night before.

In addition to Kyivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, hits were recorded in Novobavarskyi district and in the suburbs, the SES noted.

"The attack damaged a medical facility, residential buildings, a shopping center, shops, a gas station, a car dealership, and other civilian infrastructure. The building of the fire and rescue unit saw its windows, doors and gates smashed. Four fires broke out," the State Emergency Service reported on the consequences of the enemy's strikes on Kharkiv.

The SES also added that one of the drones hit a three-story building of a medical facility, causing a fire on the roof. Rescuers, together with police, doctors and volunteers, evacuated 64 people from the affected building, including 56 patients and a child.
