Russia launches two Kh-59 missiles and 12 drones at Ukraine at night: air defense forces shoot down all targets

Overnight on Monday, October 30, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 14 Russian targets in the skies over various regions of Ukraine. In particular, two Kh-59 missiles and 12 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones were neutralized.
Air alert was announced in many regions due to the threat of enemy attacks. The details of the attack and its repulsion were reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, the occupiers launched Kh-59 guided missiles from aircraft in the airspace of the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region, and Shakheds were flying from the southeast - Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia.
All 14 of these air targets were destroyed by air defense, in particular within Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi and Dnipro regions.
"Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile troops and units of mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack. Let's hold the sky! Together to victory!" the statement reads.
It is known that two Russian missiles were shot down by defenders from the East Air Command over the Dnipro region. According to the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, the target debris fell in Dniprovsky district, damaging a five-story building, a private house and a car.
Damage was also reported in Mykolaiv region, where five Shaheds were destroyed. Vitaliy Kim, the head of the regional military administration, said that the falling wreckage of one of the downed drones caused a fire in a farm warehouse in Bashtanka district. The fire was promptly extinguished, and no one was injured.
Another drone was also destroyed over Cherkasy region, with its wreckage falling into the river.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, the defenders of the sky shot down all five kamikaze drones that Russian troops launched toward Ukraine on the night of October 29. At the same time, the enemy struck the Myrhorod community in Poltava region with an Kh-59 missile.
