Russia launched four missiles and 68 Shahed drones at Ukraine overnight: 31 enemy targets shot down

From the evening of last night until the morning of October 13, Ukraine's air defense forces made efforts torepel Russia's air attack. In particular, 31 out of 68 Shahed-131/36 kamikaze drones were destroyed, with the rest failing to reach their targets.

At the same time, the enemy launched ballistic missile at Poltava and Odesa regions. This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In particular, on Sunday night, the occupiers attacked Odesa and Poltava regions with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Russian Kursk region and the temporarily occupied Crimea. In addition, the aggressor hit Chernihiv and Sumy regions with two X-59 cruise missiles from the airspace of Kursk region. The enemy also launched 68 Shahed drones from the Russian cities of Kursk and Orel.

Missile and electronic warfare units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling this attack.

As a result, the defenders destroyed 31 enemy UAVs in Kyiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy and Cherkasy regions.

Also, 36 Russian drones were lost in different regions of Ukraine, probably as a result of active electronic warfare countermeasures.

"One UAV is in the air. Combat work continues!" the military warned around 09:00.

As reported, on the night of October 12, the aggressor country Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles of an unspecified type and 28 Shahed drones. The defenders of the sky shot down 24 drones, and two more UAVs were lost.
