Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said that Russia is ready for peace talks on Ukraine. But not on the basis of "Kyiv's whims," but on the basis of "the agreements reached earlier in Istanbul" and the realities of today. Thus, the Kremlin leader once again suggested that Ukrainians agree to surrender.

Putin made these statements on November 7 at the plenary session of the Valdai Discussion Club. He was quoted by pro-Kremlin media.

The dictator cynically accused Ukraine of starting the war.

"Russia did not launch aggression or intervention against Ukraine, but is trying to stop the hostilities started by Kyiv in 2014," Putin said.

The leader of the terrorist country also once again trampled on the territorial integrity of our country, saying that "Donbas and Novorossiya had the right to decide on their sovereignty from Ukraine" because it allegedly complies with the UN Charter.

At the same time, Putin said that Russia allegedly recognized Ukraine's borders on the basis of agreements on its neutral status. When asked whether this meant that "when there is neutrality, then we will talk about borders," Putin mumbled for a long time, after which he said that without Ukraine's neutrality, "it is difficult to imagine good neighborly relations between Russia and Ukraine."

"This means that Ukraine will be constantly used as a tool in the hands of others and to the detriment of Russia's interests. Thus, the basic conditions for normalizing relations will not be created," Putin said.

And the Russian Federation, he said, is determined to create conditions for a long-term settlement of the war.

"Russia is ready for peace talks on Ukraine, but not on the basis of Kyiv's 'whims', but on the basis of 'Istanbul' and the realities of today. The new borders of Ukraine will depend on the dynamics of the events taking place and the opinion of the inhabitants of Russia's historical territories," Putin said.

The Kremlin dictator added that Ukraine does not need a truce "for half an hour or half a year," but conditions for a long-term settlement.

At the same time, Russia's chief terrorist cynically states that "the Russian and Ukrainian peoples remain fraternal, despite today's tragic events."

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the Russian-Ukrainian war cannot be ended in a "draw". According to him, such a formulation does not provide for a fair consideration of the interests of the parties.

According to American analysts, there is nothing to indicate that Russian dictator Putin is ready to sit down at the negotiating table. And this will not be affected by the change of the US president.
