Russia is preparing to deploy marines from the Pacific Fleet to the area of Vovchansk: what is known
In the Kharkiv sector, the Russian occupation forces suffered heavy losses during the battle for Vovchansk – more than 4,000 invaders were killed. With this in mind, the enemy is preparing to deploy marines from the Pacific Fleet.
This is a brigade that is deployed more than 9,000 kilometers from the site of combat operations. Nazar Voloshyn, spokesman for the "Khortytsia" operational and strategic group of troops, said this on Tuesday, June 18, during a telethon.
He said that the 138th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, the 83rd Separate Airborne Assault Brigade, and the 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces are currently opposing the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Vovchansk. However, these units have suffered heavy losses in the month and a half of fighting.
That is why the military leadership of the Russian Federation is trying to replenish the ranks of the occupiers in this area with those groups that are located near the borders of Ukraine and on the territory of Russia.
In particular, we are talking about units of the 155th Separate Marine Brigade from the Pacific Fleet and units belonging to the 25th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 6th Army from the Leningrad Military District.
The 155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation is stationed in the city of Vladivostok and the village of Slovianka in Primorsky Territory. The distance to Vovchansk from there is about 9300 kilometers.
Earlier, we told you that the Russian occupiers are constantly trying to free their units, which are blocked on the territory of the Aggregate Plant in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region. The logistics of the trapped enemy soldiers are limited to drone drops.
