Russia has thrown a tantrum, complaining that Ukraine wants to take away its allies
The Russian Federation complained that Ukraine was trying to take away their partners from the Global South. In particular, Russia accused Kyiv of creating a so-called "anti-Russian coalition".
This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova. She also said that the Ukrainian peace formula, which has already been supported by more than 60 countries, is just a "set of unacceptable ultimatums" for Russia.
"We are now seeing the Westerners and their Kyiv-based proxies using a new technique. They are actively promoting Zelenskyy's so-called 'peace formula', which in fact has nothing to do with peace and contains only a set of unacceptable ultimatums for Russia. In fact, they are trying to bring down the anti-Russian coalition, in which they are trying to involve our partners from the Global South," the Russian official said.
Zakharova also attacked the United States for continuing to provide military assistance to Ukraine and complained about Ukraine's strikes on allegedly "civilian" targets in Russia. In particular, earlier Zakharova called the illegally built Kerch bridge in Crimea, through which the occupiers transport military equipment to the southern frontline, a "purely civilian" object.
