Russia has the potential to simultaneously launch up to 56 Kalibr missiles at Ukraine, - Gumenyuk

Russia can simultaneously launch fifty Kalibr missiles at Ukraine

The aggressor country Russia has a sufficient number of missiles to carry out massive air attacks on Ukraine. In particular, the occupiers have the potential to simultaneously launch up to 56 Kalibr cruise missiles.

This was stated by the head of the press center of the Southern Defense Forces, Natalia Gumenyuk, during a telethon. According to her, there is a high level of threat to the country from the Black Sea.

"The enemy should not be underestimated, it has enough missile carriers - surface and underwater - that can inflict damage. Despite the fact that now, during severe storms, they are all hidden in bays, the enemy has enough cunning to strike from there," she explained.

That is why the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine assesses the level of missile threat from the Black Sea as high at all times. And when enemy missile carriers are on combat duty, it increases.

"Strikes on the capabilities of the Russian Navy, even those that have not yet been involved in hostilities, such as the Askold, are a powerful psychological blow to the mood of the Russian Navy and the Russian army as a whole," Gumenyuk said.

According to her, Russian surface missile carriers carry up to eight missiles, submarines - four, and up to five missile carriers can be seen at sea.

"There was a figure of almost 56 Kalibrs ready to launch at the same time. There is still potential, and it is very powerful," warned the representative of the South.

As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, Humeniuk said that with the onset of winter cold, the Russian Armed Forces could significantly increase the number of missile attacks on Ukraine. She emphasized that so far the aggressor has resorted to targeted missile and drone attacks to reconnoiter the positions of Ukrainian air defense.
