Russia has stopped striking Ukraine from Belarus: the Air Force has given a reason

Since the autumn of 2022, Russia has not attacked Ukraine from the territory of Belarus. So far, the occupiers have only attacked from the Russian Federation.

This was announced on the air of the national telethon by the spokesman of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yurii Ihnat. He explained that Russian troops do not have a special need to shell our country from Belarus.

"Usually it is Bryansk and Kursk regions," Ihnat said.

Also, according to him, last night it was "quieter" in Kyiv, as it all depends on the types of ammunition used by Putin's war criminals.

"Last time there was ballistics. It cannot be shot down at long range, because the range of the Patriot is short - a few tens of kilometres," said the Air Force spokesman.

"And cruise missiles can be shot down not only by this system, but also by other aircraft, even mobile groups. Therefore, cruise missiles can be shot down on the outskirts of the city, to the objects they want to hit," he added.

To recap: On May 29, it became known that Russia had again moved another set of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems to the territory of neighbouring Belarus. The weapons were deployed near the village of Novokolosovo in the Minsk region of Belarus. As noted, the equipment of the occupation army of the aggressor country is soon to be put on combat duty.

On the night of June 2, the defenders neutralised another 36 enemy targets on the approach to and in the sky of Kyiv - Iranian-made Shahed cruise missiles and attack drones;

- according to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Serhiy Popko, the enemy launched missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea, probably cruise missiles X-101/555.
