On the morning of July 8, the aggressor country of Russia launched a new missile attack on Ukraine. The enemy took at least 5 Tu-95 strategic bombers and a MiG-31K fighter into the air. In this regard, a large-scale air alert was announced throughout Ukraine. According to preliminary data, the enemy launched missiles at about 9:30 a.m.

The enemy also attacked with ballistic missiles, and explosions were heard in Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, and Kirovohrad region. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, there are 5 Tu-95s in Russian airspace. There was also information about the activation of MiG-31K. The strategic bombers continued their course to the launch zone and attacked Ukraine with cruise missiles. Later, Putin's terrorists launched Kinzhal aerial ballistic missiles.

The head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, said that the Russian occupiers were firing missiles at civilian infrastructure. He emphasized that the whole world should see today the consequences of terror, which can only be responded to by force.

"They targeted children today. A children's hospital, a targeted attack by Russians," Yermak wrote.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russian terrorists had massively attacked Ukraine with missiles. Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk were under attack.

The enemy launched over 40 missiles of various types. The Head of State noted that the shelling had damaged residential buildings, infrastructure, and a children's hospital. All services are engaged to save more people.

"And the whole world must use all its determination to finally put an end to Russian strikes. Killing is what Putin is all about. Only together can we bring true peace and security," Zelenskyy wrote.

Kyiv

The enemy launched Kinzhal aerial ballistic missiles toward Kyiv. At about 10:30, explosions were heard in the capital. Mayor Vitali Klytschko said that medics were called to the Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv after the explosions. A short time later, another explosion occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv.

The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that as a result of a missile strike on Kyiv, debris fell in Solomyanskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts. According to preliminary reports, there is a fire at the site of the attack. Information on the damage and casualties is being clarified.

Later, the city administration reported that an office building was damaged in Solomyanskyi district, debris fell near a residential building in Holosiivskyi district, debris was burning in a residential building in Dniprovskyi district, a private house was damaged in Darnytskyi district, and a house caught fire in Desnianskyi district. All emergency services are working at the scene.

The mayor of Kyiv added that a rocket hit one of the premises of a children's medical center in Kyiv. Three victims are already known, one of them was hospitalized, and two were treated on the spot. The information about one dead person is also being checked.

Dnipro

A series of powerful explosions occurred in Dnipro. Russian terrorists launched missiles at the city from the south. Residents heard the explosions around 10:45. The Air Force urged not to ignore the danger.

Mayor Borys Filatov said that Putin's troops hit a residential building and a maintenance station with missiles. Destruction was recorded at the site of the attacks. Information about the victims is being clarified.

As a reminder, on Sunday evening, July 7, Russian occupation forces fired missiles at the suburbs of Sumy. Explosions in the regional center were heard after 23:00.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian occupiers shelled Kherson again on the afternoon of July 7. The Korabelnyi district of the city came under enemy fire: private houses were damaged there.

The invaders also attacked Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovs'k region: private houses were damaged in the city.
