On the evening of Wednesday, October 18, the aggressor country Russia launched another attack with ballistic missiles. The explosions occurred in Dnipro and Mykolaiv regions, with casualties and destruction in the latter region.

Dnipro region

Several explosions were heard in the city of Pavlohrad , Dnipro region. This was confirmed by the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak.

"There are explosions in Pavlohrad. All services are in place," he wrote.

In the morning, Serhiy Lysak reported that late in the evening of October 18, the enemy launched a rocket attack on Pavlohrad. There is damage to an infrastructure facility, people are unharmed.

At night, the occupants fired at Nikopol district, twice at Marhanets community and once again at Myrove community, said the head of the regional military administration.

"In total, almost three dozen artillery shells landed on the territory of the district. Rescuers are investigating the damage they caused. We are inspecting the affected area," said Lysak.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of enemy ballistic missile use in the eastern and southeastern regions. Monitoring channels reported that the type of missiles that hit Pavlohrad would be determined later, after analyzing the wreckage.

Mykolaiv region

Prior to this attack, another ballistic missile alert was issued because of the threat of ballistic missiles, during which the enemy attacked Mykolaiv region. The regional military administration reported that at 20:30 the occupiers struck the village of Stepove community. Residential buildings and an agricultural enterprise were damaged.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs informed that two people died as a result of the shelling, their bodies were removed by rescuers from the rubble of the destroyed building of a catering facility. Another person was injured.

The Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine showed the consequences of the shelling of Mykolaiv region.

On the night of October 19, around 1:00 a.m., two more explosions occurred in Mykolaiv during an alarm, Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych said. According to monitoring channels, it was ballistics again.

In the morning, the head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim informed that at 00:55 Mykolaiv was hit by a missile strike, which caused a fire in a disused warehouse building on the territory of one of the enterprises, and damaged apartment buildings. There were no casualties.

In addition, in the evening of October 18, the Kutsurub community came under fire, and at 20:30 the enemy launched a missile attack on the village of Stepove community, where two people were killed and one person was injured under the rubble, Kim confirmed. According to him, residential buildings, an agricultural enterprise and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

At about 02:40, a fire broke out on the roof of an unused one-story warehouse building in the same village due to falling debris from the Shahed, causing no casualties.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the morning of October 18, Russian occupation forces struck the village of Obukhivka in the Dnipro region. As a result of the hit to the private sector, houses were destroyed, one person was killed and there are injured.
