Russia dropped 32 guided bombs on Kherson region in a day: cunning tactics and its reasons

The Russian terrorist army continues to intensively shell civilian objects in the Kherson region. The enemy dropped more than 30 bombs on civilians over the past day.

The occupants also use small batches of UAVs to reconnoiter the locations of air defense assets. This was stated by Natalia Humeniuk, spokesperson for the press center of the "South" operational command, during the TV marathon.

According to her, Russian troops launched drones from the temporarily occupied territory. In this way, the enemy is trying to reconnoiter the location of air defense systems. The occupiers use this cunning tactic to scout routes for future attacks.

"The enemy has launched unmanned aerial vehicles from the temporarily occupied territory, trying to bypass air defense systems as much as possible and reconnoitering ways to defend Ukraine. In particular, they are launching such small batches of drones to find out where they work best and where the possible routes for future strikes are," Humeniuk said.

She also emphasized that Russian terrorists dropped 32 bombs on the right bank of the Kherson region in just one day. Coastal settlements suffer from the strikes the most.

"The enemy is trying to continue the pressure from the air and used aviation very actively last night. They continue to drop guided aerial bombs. In total, we counted 32 of them over the day. They hit the settlements on the right bank along the water. Beryslav, Odradokamianka, Kozatske, and Vesele were damaged. Civilian infrastructure was destroyed, the private sector was under attack," Humeniuk noted.

At the same time, the enemy reduced the number of artillery attacks. Kherson suffers the most from this type of weapon. There are wounded among civilians as a result of the Russians' criminal actions.

"There were much fewer artillery attacks. Most of them were in Kherson. Unfortunately, there are victims of both air strikes and shelling," she noted.

On the afternoon of October 28, the Russian terrorist army shelled the town of Ivanivka, Kherson region. Two civilians were injured as a result of the war crime.

Earlier, it was reported that during the night of October 29, the defenders of the Ukrainian sky destroyed 5 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones, which Russia used to attack our regions. At the same time, the enemy also used an X-59 missile. In the morning, we know about a hit in the Poltava region.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the night of October 28, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down three Iskander-K missiles. In total, Russia attacked with four such cruise missiles, directing all of them to the Dnipropetrovsk region.
