Russian occupation forces have deployed the 25th Reserve Army to the front in Luhansk region. Its total strength is about 17,000 mercenaries by contact or those transferred from other units.

The enemy will use them to try to improve their positions, which the Defense Forces keep under fire control. This was stated by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Artem Lysohor during a telethon, as well as by the soldiers themselves.

According to the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the enemy rotated units three weeks ago. Thus, a new aggressor force, the 25th Army, replaced other armies that were destroyed by our defenders in Luhansk region.

"Again, it is trying to improve its positions," noted Lysohor.

The day before, the head of the press service of the Eastern Military Group, Ilya Yevlash, said that the 25th Russian Army was fully manned. According to him, the number of this enemy unit has expanded - earlier it was said to be 12 thousand mercenaries, and now it is 17 thousand.

"They have taken up a position near Kreminna, a little bit west to the south of this settlement," Yevlash said.

He clarified that the 25th Army of the Russian Federation consists of invaders who signed contracts or were transferred to it from other formations.

It is known that this unit of the Russian Armed Forces replaced the occupiers from the 41st and 76th armies in this area, which "were quite badly torn apart" due to the skillful and successful work of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The spokesman for the Eastern Group added that the main task of the 25th Army of the Russian Federation is to hold the area. They are not currently engaged in assault operations. In general, the enemy is actively using aviation, while artillery systems have been pulled back to the maximum distance to protect them from Ukrainian strikes.
