Russia complained that drones attacked Bryansk and Grozny: what was in the "crosshairs" and what are the consequences
Russia again complained about Ukraine's attacks. Explosions occurred at night and in the morning of December 4 in Grozny (Chechnya) and Bryansk.
This was reported by Russian media. In the first case, the building of the barracks of the Akhmat Kadyrov regiment was attacked, and in the second case, one of the largest microelectronics enterprises in Russia, the "Kremniy EL" plant, was attacked.
It was loud in the Russian city of Bryansk around 2:30 am local time. Russian propagandists reported "an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack one of the largest microelectronics enterprises," but, as is typical for Russian propaganda, "without consequences."
"The attack on JSC "Kremniy EL Group," which employs almost 2,000 people, was carried out today around 02:30 am. The drones flew 10 minutes apart. The fragments of the downed UAVs slightly damaged the roof and fence of the enterprise. There was no serious damage, no one was injured," said one of the pro-Kremlin social media outlets.
Shortly before dawn, at about 5 a.m. local time, at least one explosion occurred in the "capital" of Chechnya, the city of Grozny. The cause of the explosion was immediately called "an attempted drone attack."
"According to sources, an attempted attack was made on the barracks of the Akhmat Kadyrov regiment of the Chechen National Guard," the propagandists said.
Predictably, Russian media reports immediately included the phrase "no casualties as a result of the explosion."
At the local airport, the "Carpet" plan was introduced at night, and a flight to Moscow was reportedly delayed.
At the same time, while the governor of the Bryansk region reacted to the nighttime explosions by reporting that one drone was "shot down" and that there were no casualties, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, is in no hurry to comment.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that 35 Ukrainian drones were allegedly shot down over several Russian regions during the night and morning.
In particular, according to the occupiers, Russian air defense allegedly worked effectively in Rostov (12 UAVs were "destroyed"), Ryazan (4), Bryansk (6), Belgorod (4), Astrakhan (1), Kaluga (1), Kursk (2) regions, as well as in Krasnodar Krai (5).
As a reminder, last night explosions were heard near the Dyagilevo military air base in Ryazan. One of the explosions was caught on video.
According to Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, this air base is one of the key bases of Russian strategic aviation.
