Right at the moment of launch: Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Russian "Solntsepyok" near Chasovyi Yar. Video

Ukrainian servicemen showed a video of the hunt for TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" and the defeat of this heavy flamethrower system of the occupiers' volley fire. The defenders conducted the operation near the town of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region.

"Solntsepyok" was hit by FPV drones of the Rarog battalion of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo. The press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted the video on Telegram on September 10. The date of shooting is not specified.

Drone operators from the 24th Brigade ambushed and burned the Russian equipment when it moved to a position and launched missiles at our territory. The camera of one of the FPV drones captured the launch of two enemy missiles. After that, the explosive-laden vehicle crashed into the launcher.

At the end of the video, you can see the smoke over the Solntsepyok, which was hit by several drone strikes.

"Solntsepyok is a terrible weapon that hits with thermobaric rockets," commented Serhii Bratchuk, a representative of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army – "South."

As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, according to the official statistics of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on September 9, the Defense Forces dislodged 1380 Russian occupants. The Russian army also lost 178 pieces of equipment and weapons over the past day.
