Powerful explosions in Mykolaiv: authorities confirm two arrivals

On the afternoon of March 17, an air alert was issued in Ukraine due to the threat of enemy ballistic missile use. During the alert, an explosion occurred in Mykolaiv.

This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration Vitaliy Kim. According to him, the city was hit.

"There was a hit on Mykolaiv. From a place that came from Odesa. And the re-launch is the same," Kim said at 14:02.

Later, the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration announced another arrival.

"There is a second arrival," he wrote at 14:07.

Kim added that the invaders struck with ballistic missiles.

"On Forgiveness Sunday, should we forgive the Katsaps for firing ballistic missiles at us?" he asked rhetorically.

According to the Telegram channel Mykolaiv Vanek, the invaders attacked Mykolaiv with Iskander-M missiles. The missiles were launched from the area of Yevpatoria in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The alert in Mykolaiv region was announced at 13:53.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned about the threat of enemy ballistic missile attacks, first from the east and then from the south, at intervals of several minutes.
