On the morning of December 25, the Russian terrorist army launched a massive missile attack on the territory of Ivano-Frankivsk region. Russia once again targeted critical infrastructure.

As a result of the attack, part of the region was left without electricity. This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration Svitlana Onyshchuk.

According to the RMA, during the morning air raid alert, Russians fired missiles at Prykarpattia. The enemy attack resulted in a power outage in part of the region. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Experts continue the work to eliminate the consequences of the missile attack.

"Christmas morning once again showed that nothing is sacred for the aggressor country. At the time when we celebrate one of the greatest religious holidays - the holy Christmas - the enemy attacked us with missiles, trying to destroy the energy infrastructure in order to plunge us into darkness," Onyshchuk said.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, during the attack on the western regions of the country, a number of Russian missiles violated the airspace of Moldova. Monitoring channels reported that some of them also entered Romanian territory.

As a reminder, on December 25, Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. In particular, the Russians attacked DTEK's thermal power plants. The strikes severely damaged the equipment of the TPPs.

Earlier, explosions were reported in Dnipro and Kharkiv. In the latter, several districts were hit, and civilians were injured. Fires have broken out at the impact sites, and there is also destruction.
