The aggressor country Russia currently does not keep its surface ships in the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. In the latter, only one submarine is guarding the enemy's.

This was stated by Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, during the United News TV marathon, on Tuesday, August 27. According to him, the overall situation remains stable, and the enemy's tactics are unchanged.

"They are not present in the waters of both the Azov and Black Seas. In the Black Sea, a submarine is guarding the base point, but there are still no surface ships," the spokesman noted.

According to Pletenchuk, the total number of missile launchers that remain in the Azov-Black Sea region is currently eight. These are three submarines with four missiles each and the remaining units are five with eight missiles each.

"Also, this time we saw four units at sea, and that's probably all they could have used. I still do not have final confirmation that they are loading (missiles - Ed.) on surface carriers, on underwater carriers - yes, they do," the military added.

Earlier, we wrote that the Kalibr missile corvette Amur was withdrawn from the Black Sea by the occupiers at the beginning of summer and "hidden" in the Caspian Sea.

As reported, Russia does not deploy its Black Sea Fleet submarines in the waters of the Sea of Azov due to insufficient depth. They could be there only on surface, but the Russians are afraid to keep them there, fearing fire from Ukrainian forces.
