Office of the President revealed details of Zaluzhny's secret meetings with NATO

The office of the President has commented on the news about a "secret meeting" of the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny with NATO representatives, which was reported by the Western mass media the other day. They noted that it was "secret" only for the media.

Zaluzhny is in constant communication with representatives of defense departments and the general staff of Ukraine's partner countries. This was stated by the advisor to the head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podoliak on the air of the TV marathon.

"This is a secret meeting. Zaluzhny communicates with representatives of the Ministries of Defense or General Staffs of our partners almost every day," Podoliak said.

The advisor to the head of the OPU noted that these meetings are held due to the need for constant adjustment of tactics and strategy, analyzing the actions of Russia and communication with partners on the needs of the Ukrainian army.

"These consultations are constantly ongoing, especially with our partners from the US and UK. We will not discuss the issues of them on the air," the head said.

The Guardian published news that Zaluzhny held a secret meeting with NATO representatives on August 26. According to the media, it took place on the Ukrainian-Polish border. The alleged purpose of the meeting was the need to reset Ukraine's military strategy.
