Occupiers struck Sumy, there is destruction: all services are working at the site

On the morning of September 8, Russian war criminals attacked Sumy. A missile hit private houses in the area of Kozatsky Avenue.

This was reported by the mayor of the city Oleksandr Lysenko and the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram channels. One of the houses is destroyed and several more are damaged.

"All the victims are being assisted. The relevant services are working," Lysenko said.

On the night of September 7, the Russians hit the city of Sumy with a Shahed-136 drone. They hit a residential neighborhood. There is also damaged civilian infrastructure.

The Sumy RMA reported damage to one private house, two stores and 20 apartments in a high-rise building. Another kamikaze drone was destroyed thanks to the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces.

The commander of the United Forces of the AFU Serhiy Naev inspected the Sumy direction and said that it should be strengthened with Air Defense to protect the Ukrainian sky from enemy attacks. In addition, our soldiers should strengthen the region in case of a new attack by Russian invaders.
