On August 24, the occupation troops of Russia shelled Kherson on a holiday for Ukraine. Civilians, including a child, were wounded.

According to investigators, the Russian military struck Kherson around 11:00 on Thursday. Civilian infrastructure, in particular houses, was destroyed.
One of the shells hit the roof of a private house. So far it is known about three civilian casualties, among them a young child. The data is being clarified.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson district prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the criminal proceedings for violation of laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
"Prosecutors together with other law enforcement officers continue to take all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation", - informed in the Department.
In the Kherson regional military administration showed video from the center of Kherson after enemy artillery strikes. It is noted that the invaders literally covered residential houses with targeted fire. Due to the shelling, the houses of citizens received serious damage.
"A 7-year-old child received a wound of medium severity. Now the girl is in the safe hands of Kherson doctors", - specified in the regional military administration.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, on the morning of August 23, the occupants dropped guided aerial bombs on Kherson. Civilian infrastructure was damaged, including a kindergarten, six people were injured.
