Occupiers launched a UAV on Kharkiv but had to shoot it down over Belgorod: fire and victims reported. Photo and video
On the night of Thursday, October 12, the occupiers shelled Kharkiv. However, explosions were also heard in the Russian city of Belgorod. A man and a woman died, their bodies were pulled out from under the rubble.
As a result of the debris fall, a fire broke out at the scene. This was reported by local Telegram channels (to watch the video, scroll down).
An air defense system shot down a UAV on its approach to the city.
"As a result of the fall of the wreckage, a private house caught fire. As a result of the falling debris, one residential building was destroyed, two more were partially destroyed, and three cars were damaged," the Russian media wrote.
According to Russian sources, there are also two victims: a man and a woman. They were taken by ambulance to City Hospital 2 in Belgorod.
Local governor Gladkov added that the injured man is in a coma and has respiratory tract and upper and lower extremities burns. Doctors assess the woman's condition as serious, she has a fractured lower limb and a concussion.
"There may be a child under the rubble. The rescue operation continues," Gladkov wrote.
As OBOZREVATEL reported earlier, the SSU said that as a result of the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine's combat drones in the Russian Kursk region, strategic military facilities of the Russian Federation were de-energized. They were connected to the power substation in the settlements of Sudzha, Lyubimovka and Glushkovo, which were attacked.
