Russian troops dropped a grenade from a drone onto a car carrying a National Police investigative team en route to detain collaborators in Dvorichna, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region. Three law enforcement officers in the car were injured but fortunately managed to escape.

This was reported on November 8 by Serhii Bolvinov, the head of the National Police Investigation Department in Kharkiv region. He also posted a photo of the damaged car.

The sound of the drone was recognized immediately - no one had seen the drone, but law enforcement officers realized they were the target," says investigator Mykola Kharchenko. "The car was also occupied by a district police officer in the passenger seat and an operative at the wheel.

At first, they tried to get away from the pursuer but realized that they would not succeed. The operative was the first to realize that they were being pursued, and he immediately gave the command to jump out, and an explosion immediately followed.

"We jumped out a split second before the drone dropped the grenade. It hit the back of the car, and the driver was the last to jump, actually at the moment of impact," said Mykola Kharchenko.

He and his colleagues suffered contusions, but fortunately, they all survived.

According to Serhii Bolvinov, the occupiers are hunting on Ukrainian territory, trying to kill and intimidate those who expose collaborators and traitors in the liberated areas.

"But the Russians will not succeed - the task force is not going to abandon the case it was on its way to investigate. As well as dozens of others. And they will definitely see it through. They are already hardened, experienced, without fear and with faith in our Victory - they work in the liberated, de-occupied territories and will not leave the enemy a chance," assured the head of the investigation department.
